more expensive airport hotels and had much poorer service. The
restaurant food was very good, but the chef needs to learn a little more
about what medium and well done steaks are. They were both very

This hotel was excellent for location,literally a 5 minute walk from the
airport. There's also a free shuttle bus from stand 2 that drops you
off within 100 yards of the hotel The beds were very comfortable We were
a late check in after a midnight landing at Luton, staff couldn't do
enough. We had a connecting filght at Heathrow back to Canada next day
and booked our seats in advance at the hotel, front desk staff offered
to print our boarding passes from the internet. Rooms were small but

I took my girlfriend away for the weekend, and we had an amazing time. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the facilities are very modern and clean. The grounds are well kept and I proposed to my girlfriend in the rock garden, which looks like something straight out of a fantasy film. I would absolutely recommend this hote

Wonderful historic building and rooms. Lovely setting. Wernher restaurant is quite exceptional. Golf course massive. Clay pigeon shooting top. Highly recommended as a historic and luxurious weekend.
However I think you need to be in the main building - you wouldn't want to be in the modern block - no matter how sympathetically designed. That would eliminate the whole point of the experience.

It was very close to shopping centre and so convenient especially during the wet weather. It suited me perfectly as I am slightly disabled and unable to walk for long distances. Beautiful decor. Restaurant staff very friendly. Beds/pillows were very comfortable and the hotel was nice and warm. - Nice bar and reception area. Clean and well-organized

I noted the care and attention to detail in the presentation of my room. Well done whoever was responsible it really shows you a level of professionalism rarely seen.
Breakfast and evening staff were very welcoming and pleasant, again well done all.
This experience has really reinforced my already high regard for the Ibis hotel group.

With 19 month twin boys we was so happy to find our room situation at the end of corridor on the ground floor and heard no noise what so ever as often in places near airports theres lots of traffic noise and doors slamming from other guests who are departing throughout the night. Sad stay due to the fact i had just left my son at RAF Halton for his 9wks basic training - The hotel staff were all very friendly and efficient, and even though the kitchen was under going a major refit, the food was superb. The hotel and the grounds are very pleasent and relaxing
