  It was very close to shopping centre and so convenient especially during the wet weather. It suited me perfectly as I am slightly disabled and unable to walk for long distances. Beautiful decor.   interior /rooms - immaculate. Location - very peaceful. 2-3 restaurants/public houses within walking distance. Staff were extremely helpful and supportive when a family member was ill.   The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The local knowledge of the reception staff on arrival and the guidance given by phone, to find the hotel from LUTON AIRPORT was excellent - suprisingly noisy in the room facing the main road although we were a fair distance from the road and the road was only an A road .

  St Michaels Manor is an unexpected find in the heart of St Albans. From arrival at Reception until departure all of the staff were friendly and very accommodating. I was upgraded upon arrival though did not ask to be. The garden room was luxurious and comfortable overlooking the lake and gardens. The surrounding environment is beautiful. Just go and stay at this hotel. It is magnificent.

  the hotel was amazing, the staff were so polite and helpful and lots of complimentary things ! eg rang up and offered us hot drinks upon arrival into the room! - It was of exceptional design, clean, staff we excellent and the rooms were spacious contemporary in design - it was fantastic for the price!!!!!

  Sopwell House Hotel was a great stay, the room was lovely with a nice en-suite bathroom. The bed was very comfy and we could not fault this stay, which is including the staff who could not do enough for us. The treatments I had here were great, and it was close enough to St. Albans and London so we could venture out. I told my family and friends about this h - The facilities were excellent on the site, although it was a shame that we could not use the spa on the Friday until after 3pm, despite checking in. The pool was fantastic though, and the various relaxation areas: salon, bar, conservatory were all nicely done and peaceful. Free wifi was also a sensible inclusion in the price
