  Comfortable/modern very clean rooms of a better standard/price than travelodge/ Inn types. Food- Carvery or pub standards such as fish and chips, well priced and cooked. Staff - efficient and helpful Location next to the river is very attractive, lots of wildlife to watch. Plenty of parking. Has a large restaurant and bar with separate seating ar... vad folk säger » ea, service in both was very quick - In the Summer there is outside seating with view of the river. - We stayed one night again for the second week running. Daughter had head cold and temperature. Staff went out of their way to help i.e. jugs of iced water etc and very accommodating with all requests. As with my review from last week thoroughly enjoyed the overnight stay. A big thank you to the lovely Manager and all his kind staff, We will be returning in the not to distant future.

  Was very impressed by the helpfulness and politness of the staff and liked the services it provided. The facilities were also of a very good standard. - staff were very friendly, the food was abolutely excellent top marks to all the staff, these are the people that make any business succeed.

  Just like being at home, fabulous, the staff were very helpful with a relaxed but professional attitude.The breakfast was outstanding, more than we would have wished for..lovely fresh blueberries, strawberries and pineapple prepared with care. My husband had the English breakfast which was beautifully cooked to order and plentiful. Nice king size ... vad folk säger » bed which was very comfie, didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. Thank you all at theie Winter Dene, wish we could have stayed longer..next ti - I had booked a family room and on arrival we were shown both available family rooms and were given the choice of which room we preferred - not something I've experienced before. The room (12) was large, well set up for a family of 1 or 2 adults and 2 children as there is a king size double bed and two singles, with a pannelled wall separating adults from children, whilst still being in the same room. Hotel very clean and comfy for a family break.
