  there is so much to say about this place. It is an experience of the finest country house you could hope to be a guest of. The staff are available but completely unintrusive, in perfect synchronization with the stately impression that the house commands. We had the front family room as no one else was there, well worth the extra money, left hand window looked out at the Edward I castle, front window overlooked the water.   I stayed here for four nights in mid April. Excellent value at £30 per night, especially in view of the superb full English breakfast (8.00 to 9.30). Very pleasant breakfast room, all tables immaculately laid,cereals, juices and toast, bay window overlooking street and a wall mounted flat screen tv for your early morning news fix. The landlord Phi... vad folk säger » ll, a Liverpudlian, is friendly and helpful. He helped me unload and load my car out in the street on arrival and departure, and when on the last day - I stayed in the apartment which was great value for money - it appears to be a converted part of the building rather than a purpose built space, and because of this it isn't the highest quality, still it was clean and spacious enough for a 3-day stay. The staff are friendly (including Phil who might not be everyone's cup of tea)and the location was spot on for a Snowdon Trip. There was even parking right behind the building.

  The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the room was great, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was also very complete and very good service.
