  From the moment we were met at the station by the complimentary taxi until we were waved farewell with a welcome bottle of local water for our journey home we were looked after superbly. We cannot wait until we have a chance to visit this hotel again. The free wifi thorough out was also much appreciated. A great place to chill out and relax.   A courtesy car was waiting for us at the train station. The staff greeted us with a glass of wine of our choice as we arrived. Our room was amazing with a great balcony. Breakfast was the best we had in all the hotels we were in on our Swiss trip. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful with transportation and restaurants.   Excellent hotel from A-Z. As a frequent traveler i don't get overexcited easily, but this hotel really deserves the max points. If you have the chance, take the suite having two balconies with direct view of the Matterhorn - awesome and worth every single buck.   I loved the design of the room. It was extremely comfortable and far better than any other hotel during my time in Switzerland. It could not be more central within Zermatt.   It's very conveniently located for the Sunnegga/Rothorn funicular and Gornergrat train. The staff were very kind and helpful to my elderly parents. The train station is close but nevert - We loved the hotel and the location. The staff was very friendly and unquestionably efficient. The spa was first rate with an amazing pool, Jacuzzi and a northern style sauna. We thoroughly enjoyed this aspect. We made full use of the kitchen facility since we were a couple with 6 (hungry!)college age kids. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen. Expensive but rooms were spectacular as was service...so get what you pay for. - clean and spacious room, breakfast in room (no eating facility within hotel), customers receive prompt attention, nice and small so quiet and cosy.

  The staff in the Arcare building were very friendly and helpful. Room cleaning and maintenance were punctual and efficient. Front desk staff were very helpful. Restaurant was good and waiting staff friendly and attentive. Hotel bar was good for meeting and chatting with other guests with a very nice and friendly barman in charge. A 5 minute walk to rent skis/sports shop, and another 5 minutes to the Sunneggabahn funicul - 1 min walking distance from train station. Spacious room with a couzy sofa and an armchair, huge balcony for a five o'clock tea; nicely designed bathroom with a window. Slippers/bath gown. Swmming pool, sauna, solarium - all very nice.
