  Only 40 klm from the big snow sport town of Zermatt with accommodation a fraction of the price. A tiny hamlet perched high on the side of a very steep valley. Snow capped mountains in front and to the side. Picture perfect Swiss hamlet backed by snow capped peaks to the left. To the right a view right up the valley towards Zermatt. Wifi in public - The area around Visp is ideal as a base to visit the Rhone valley and adjacent peaks. Zermatt, Saas-fee, Aletsch Glacier, Sierre, Crans-Montana all are inside 1 hour from Visp by car. Although Zeneggen requires a 15 minute climb through a steep and narrow road (not recommended to inexperienced drivers), it is worth of it. Mr. Zimmermann was very nice and helpfull advising us about places to visit in the region. Excellent value for the price we paid.

  Rimligt pris - mycket bra värde för pengarna. Hotellet ligger i centrum, bra länge till alla liftarna samt affärer. The staff was extremely helpful and nice in every way. The view of the Matterhorn from the terrace was a nice bonus! Would definitely recommend to couples looking for a good deal in Zermatt. - We arrived at 11pm in the night and called the hotel earlier about late check-in demand. They told me the security code for main entrance and left me a lovely envelope inside. The room was clean and tidy. Excellent experience!

  This hotel is ideally situated if you intend to visit Zermatt. The immediate surroundings are stunning (great views of the snow-capped mountains if you're on a higher floor) and the village of Tasch is very picturesque and quaint. The size of the room is very generous and the balcony is great too. The room was extremely clean and there was fr - Friendly helpful staff. If you want to go up to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise without the ice palace you can buy a ticket at the hotel for 70 chf instead of 99 chf. The room was large and had a lovely view over the village to the mountains. There was a fridge that we used on the room. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day. There was lots of free parking. The Internet signal was strong in the room.
