  Excellent hotel from A-Z. As a frequent traveler i don't get overexcited easily, but this hotel really deserves the max points. If you have the chance, take the suite having two balconies with direct view of the Matterhorn - awesome and worth every single buck.   We were pleasantly surprised to stay at the Hotel Communal as our original hotel couldn't fulfill the reservation. We were warmly greeted by the owner and he made sure that the rooms fit our family's need. The restaurant attached to the hotel was fabulous -- a great place to relax after skiing in Champery.   Really well run, super mod, beautifully managed property. Small and charming. Expensive but rooms were spectacular as was service...so get what you pay for. - clean and spacious room, breakfast in room (no eating facility within hotel), customers receive prompt attention, nice and small so quiet and cosy.

  It was a great hotel, in a location close to the town [5 minutes walk]. It seems like the hotel is newly removated, so very clean, and modern. Much nicer than some other 4* more expensive hotels I have stayed in in Zermatt.
