  We arrived early and were allowed to access our rooms. The staff were friendly and more than happy to help us with any queries and meet our needs. The elegance of the hotel and the cleanliness of the rooms was a great touch to an enjoyable stay in Bern.   This is a apartment of old people, they rent some empty room for guests. The apartment is big, 2 bedroom with living room and chicken, also a garden. We lived here for 6 days, free parking just beside the building, free Wifi and very strong signal. Coop suppermarket is nearby, we cooked by ourselves.   From the moment I arrived, I was looked after, nothing was too much trouble. The owner, Dora and her son Alexander, were perfect hosts. I speak no Swiss but they spoke great English as did all of the staff. The views from my window were spectacular. The food was great, even though the restaurant was not officially open.
