We were upgraded from a room to a whole apartment with three bedrooms, kitchen ,dining and balcony and a view to die for. The hotel was practically empty so they gave us the upgrade for the same price. It was fantastic since the first day was rainy and we stayed in the room. We walked every where from the hotel. 1. very courteous and helpful staff
2. we had booked the hotel from a date which was a day ahead of our actual check in date. Having been in transit with 2 children for over 12 hours, we were willing to pay extra charges for a day to ensure that the room was available for us to quickly settle down the moment we arrived at Luzern. We had even booked our room accordingly. Lucia was generous and didn't charge for that extra day!
