  Luzern is a beautiful city and we enjoyed our time there. We had a good sized room and the staff were very helpful. Parking is underneath the hotel. It was a better than the average Ibis. The train station is only a 7 min walk from the hotel and it takes only 4 min to get into Luzern. The hotel is only a short drive from the Mt Pilatus cable car. ... vad folk säger » - Very clean and comfortable. This hotel is 7 mins walk (in the direction to a car showroom, a large white tent) from Kriens Mattenhof train station, just one stop from Lucerne central station. Mount Pilatus is very near, you can reach by a bus to the funicular point of mt. Pilatus.

  Location was outstanding in the middle of old town Lucern. Getting there was very easy by car and a car park right across the street from the hotel. Great restaurants and pastry shops close by so you don't need to have dinner or breakfast at the hotel if you don't want. Wifi was fast. Bed was comfortable and large as was the bathroom. The price was so much cheaper for the quality and loca - We stayed in room 402, which was one of the rooms with a balcony. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful! Close to all major sights and train station, but all the shops are on the other side of the river. Although we did not eat at the hotel's restaurant, is looked very nice and were full every night. Will definitly recommend the hotel to budget travellers!!

  We were a group of 3 women who occupied a triple bedroom. The size of the room was just right. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb. The interior of the hotel is really nice. The location was good - roughly 15 minute walk to the train station...and another 10-15 minute walk to the center of tourist ... vad folk säger » attractions. This is a hotel that provides value for money. We definitely will stay in this hotel again should we have another opportunity to visit Lu - Boutique hotel, unique, interesting and full of history. A great place to stay - clean, comfortable, but most of all friendly and relaxed. A small hotel with a big heart and loads of character - love the lift! We had the best time at the Stern, sitting outside in the cafe, eating, drinking, meeting people and the location is perfect. The staff are lovely and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. 10/10 from us!

  Beautiful location , great restaurant with lots of choice and lovely breakfast. Just one person speak English and the menu is all in swiss german language but its ok , we need to learn a little bit of language when we go abroad. - Very clean hotel. Hotel owner stayed late into the night to wait for my check-in, very thankful to his kindness.

  Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, really went out of their way to be accommodating. Although the building itself is old, rooms and ensuite bathrooms are modern; comfy beds, decent showers etc. Very good, high speed wifi accessible everywhere (free). - The room was priced very well given others in Andermat. The staff also found me a space in the garage for my motorbike and put on an early breakfast so I could get on the road for six am.

  The staff are very complaisant. The room is very clear. Very silent place at the lake coast. Nice view from the restaurant garden to crystal clear lake. Excellent cuisine. - The view from our balcony was sensational. It is truly a beautiful place and the hotel was very clean, with friendly staff and excellent food.

The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. It is a more modest, rustic hotel, but has everything you need and the location is ideal for hiking, skiing, eating and using the mineral spa. The restaurant is perfect for lunch or dinner.
