  We very much enjoyed our six nights at the Art Hotel Stella in Lugano. It is an easy 5 minute walk from the Lugano train station, which is on a hill above the central old town district and Lake Lugano. A ten minute walk leads to the Parco Del Tassino with great views of the lake and the mountains that ring it. The hotel was very comfortable.   Hotel Dischma is a very nice, reasonably priced base for exploring Lugano. An excellent, very extensive breakfast is included in the price.
