  Excellent location which would be extremely difficult to beat. Even staying in the old town (Citta Vecchia) of Locarno is not as convenient as Hotel Rio Garni. Hosts Caterina and Gigi were incredible. - Very, very friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious with freshly made fruit salade and good selection.   Mycket trevlig personal och bra frukost. - Hotel had been fully refurbished and was well equipped, excellent decor and very clean. Breakfast was good, which could be taken outside on the verandah. Parking is good - either right outside the hotel or in excellent secure garage about 100m up the road. Location was excellent - 5 mins to lake and centre. - The hotel not over expensive as it was modern, clean, efficient, with friendly staff and situated close to the railway station.
