  I would highly reccommend this hostel. I stayed for 5 nights from 30th August 2013. This place is great if you are looking for clean, comfortable accommodation, friendly staff (speaking many languages) and a great breakfast. It is located slightly further away from the centre of Lausanne but the number 25 bus stop is only a two minute walk away a... vad folk säger » nd you can be in the city centre within 15 minutes. The complimentary Lausanne Travel Card (valid for 2013 bus and metro travel) was an added bonus wh - Dinners were good and for a good price. Breakfast came with the room. It was a little distant from downtown but we got a bus pass which made it cheap to travel via the public system. The distance to downtown was walkable and enjoyable because it was by the water and in the park with lots of activity, swimming, etc. We took a boat across the lake to Evian France and a train to Geneva from downtown. Be sure to see the Kathedrale Notre-Dame which is right off the metro line.

  I found the staff really helplful. The value for the money was excellent, clean room, good breakfast, free use of internet in the lobby and the location of the hotel was central. - Good signs to find hotel: we drove straight for downtown and saw signs that took us right to the hotel. Easy 2-3 stars. - Good location, very close to the old city and train station. Helpfull staff, a possibility to get maps and information about the city. Delicious breakfast.   Very well renovated room with a modern design in a old fashion Swiss inn. Excellent location in the medieval part of the city. Just behind the old city hall. Very good price/quality ratio for Switzerland (might not be so good for foreigners). - Location is right in the middle of the old town and close to shops and supermarkets.   A very nice hotel! Must have been newly renovated because the inside was very clean and looked new. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast (included in the rate) was very good.   The hotel is suprbly locted , and modern concept of reception and loungeall all in one area.also I like the room stile, however, I wished ifbreakfast was included in the room price. - Loved it! The hotel and the room were gorgeous!

  Good parking, lovely clean room, staff very helpful, convenient to public transport. Caught bus into city centre then train down to lake. Being novice travellers and English speaking we had no hassles getting around and conversing. - Really great hotel. Nicely renovated,very clean,comfy big bed & close to everything.
