  It was very spacious. Typical old European with large rooms and high ceilings. It had a large balcony with a view over the town and of the lake and hills. Kitchen was small but had all basic equipment. Shower was great. Free off street parking. - We had a larger apartment on the back of the hotel, which was very old, maybe from the 70th, and with... vad folk säger » old furniture, still very clean. We only stayed one night and did not stay inside much. There was a kitchen which we didn't use. Free garage.

  The staff were excellent and welcomed us even when we arrived close to their deadline. Excellent location, a short walk into Ascona where there are lots of restaurants beside Lake Maggiore.   Har bott på många hotell i Ascona och Garni la Meridina är enligt min mening de hotell som passar oss bäst, rent, snyggt och trevlig personal. - High quality of the hotel and cleanliness of room. Staff was excellent, breakfast and reading room were very nice. Balcony overlooking Lago Maggiore. Excellent restaurants nearby.

  They have given us a well-prepared baby travel crib for our little one in our room, which has included a bed sheet, a duvet and a pillow for our 8 months old daughter!
