I have stayed at hotel Don Candido before, and I have enjoyed the
friendly and courteous staff that thankfully understands enough English
when my meager Spanish skills prevent effective communication.
The Hotel location is in a quiet neighborhood on a hill.

It is about a 20 min downhill walk to Playa Martianez with many restaurants and shops along the way. -
The staff is friendly, courteous and efficient. The room was spacious
and had a nice balcony facing the picturesque neighborhood and provided
a perfect view of fireworks during the evening. The hotel is very
attractive and well decorated with objects of art and charming
furnishings throughout. The patio area to the pool and dining areas was
well landscaped. The breakfast is convenient. The hotel is in a
wonderful neighborhood. The walk down the hill is easy and pleasant as

Wonderful view of the sea and fantastic sunsets. Room 204 very quiet as no-one above or below you.
Good walk to a lovely beach, you get used to walking back up the hill or a taxi only costs 4 euro.

This is complex is ideal with young children as they have apartments that are furnished to allow you to make your own meals and also relax indoors if its too hot outside. We had seen the apartment block before and knew there was no pool and knew the apartments where very clean but basic. So we were very happy with it.Staff were all so friendly and great to have a brill Bar on site and great staff there as well. Location is great lovely walk along the beach. would stay again. And hear the pool will be re opened early next year
