  We loved everything about our stay here. The hotel room, the living areas we were welcome to lounge in, the dining room, all were 100% comfort and charm. The town was tiny, ancient and fascinating. It was central to the vineyards, wineries, beautiful countryside drives and within a few feet of the hotel was the river Ebro and a wonderful river wal... vad folk säger » king trail. Best of all were the lovely ladies who greeted us, cooked, helped us with directions and suggested places to visit. We could have stayed l - Brinas is a very pretty historic village in Rioja and I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel, decorated with murals and antique funiture, to anyone looking for somewhere unique to stay. (once a Palace the property was used as Headquarter of the Italian Troops during the Spanish Civil War.) The staff are very helpful (coming out to our car with an umbella as we arrived during an unbelievable summer storm!!) This was our second visit to this hotel and we were not disappointed.
