  Location was ideal to stop off on our way from France to Southern Spain and to visit Rioja wine region. There are also so many historical places to see. Yuso and Suso in San Millan are a must ! Really nice apartment with balcony as we were traveling with a small dog. It had fabulous views of the Church and mountains of Zorraquin. C - Everything. This is a FANTASTIC place. Westayed for one night but could have stayed for a week. All amenities, great apartment, all new and clean, dish washer, washing machine, dog allowed, beautiful village. Juan (staff) is amazingly helpful. Definitely a recommendation!

  Lovely location right next to the Catheral in the old town. Hotel was a typical parador - a beautiful old building lovely turned into a hotel. We ate in the restaurant and it was excellent - I highly recommend the foie gras and the duck! - It was the first stop on our Pyrenees car tour.   The receptionist was very professional and gave us a real welcome feeling! The room was very large and comfortable, with a hall, large bathroom, sitting area, french balcony.   We loved everything about our stay here. The hotel room, the living areas we were welcome to lounge in, the dining room, all were 100% comfort and charm. The town was tiny, ancient and fascinating. It was central to the vineyards, wineries, beautiful countryside drives and within a few feet of the hotel was the river Ebro and a wonderful river wal... vad folk säger » king trail. Best of all were the lovely ladies who greeted us, cooked, helped us with directions and suggested places to visit. We could have stayed l - Brinas is a very pretty historic village in Rioja and I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel, decorated with murals and antique funiture, to anyone looking for somewhere unique to stay. (once a Palace the property was used as Headquarter of the Italian Troops during the Spanish Civil War.) The staff are very helpful (coming out to our car with an umbella as we arrived during an unbelievable summer storm!!) This was our second visit to this hotel and we were not disappointed.

  It was like a boutique hotel with some spa features. It was beautifully appointed with 5 star quality furnishings and decorating. Good size room. Quiet.   We booked in for the wine tour and tasting weekend. Our host, José was very friendly and informative. His passion for his wine-making and his region and village really shone through. Tapas with wine tasting were great. Breakfasts were amazing and the best we've experienced in Spain. Rooms tastefully decorated, with locally made quilts and other crafts to creat a cozy welcoming atmosphere. But if you are looking for spas & business centers, this isn't for you.
