  Central location, modern quarters in a working monastery Easy to reach via gps by entering the street address, hotel also provides good e-mail instructions on final approaches if you ask, apparently at the electronic gate a few 100 m before the hotel, you need to phone for access, but for us it opened automatically. An old Benedictine school converted to a hostal, the rooms are humongous and newly furnished with all the latest in hotel fittings. An abbey with a small community of nuns is to its left and to its right is an albergue where the credencial or "passport" for the Camino de Santiago is issued. Most of León's historic sites are within half an hour's walk away. No better place for pilgrims on the Camino who wish for a bit of luxury onc

  Very central. Get to it by car by approachying the bollard and pressing the button marked with the hotel. Their car parking is reasonable but plenty of overnight street parking free. Excellent hotel with character. OK the boards do creek a bit but so do I.   Convenient location and on site car parking - Because of the delayed planes, I arrived at 3 AM at the hotel and a member of the staff was waiting for me to open the door. The rooms are large, very comfortable. The dinner was excellent, with very good spanish red wine.

  We arrived for fiestas our lovely room overlooking all the action. Food at the hotel serves many local dishes and is excellent. We would stay here again. Hotel is situated on a walking street but access can be gained to the hotel garage which is chargeable. - Absolutely perfect.

  The hotel is family run and they were all very helpful to us. My husband and daughter were setting off by bike along The Camino to Santiago. So delivery of bikes etc was handled very tolerantly.
