  I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent. Just couple minutes from metro station Parallel, also you can easily reach the old quarter, La Ramblas on foot. It will take 10-15 minutes to walk. I would recommed to everybody this hostal if you are going t - Stayed for 8 days, in the beginning, the hotel was the mistakes, and they booked us a room to other guests were settled, we proposed a more modest room, two days later freed ours, previously reserved room. The hotel made ​​a discount for the mistake. The location is great. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Cleanliness and order o f the room

  Very friendly and responsive staff, great location just off the Ramblas, cash machine outside the door, balcony as promised - a very small one, but this is typical Barcelona style, it was good enough for 2 people to sit and enjoy some cava + jamon serrano in the wee hours... Good large screen TV, a surprise! And open WiFi with great reception, exc... vad folk säger » ellent! Also they let us into the room two hours early (at noon) when we arrived, and let us keep our suitcases (locked with chains) during a few hour - Location is great, just off the Ramblas between Liceu Opera House and the Boqueria Market with a metro stop (line 3) 1 minutes walk from the front door. Close to the Gothic Quarter, lots of eating places and shops. A great bakery a couple of doors down. Staff were friendly and helpful. Simple room (single bed with shower) but clean and quiet. Room facilities including a hair dryer and air con/heating unit which worked. Computer in common room with free wi-fi. Would stay here again.

  Staff were friendly, polite. Was simple and easy to check in, no fuss at all. The place was spotless all the time, daily service of beds being made never disturbed us. Shared bathroom was not an issue at all, as there was a toilet, shower room and bath/shower room right outside our door. Amazing central location for the price, literally 10 seconds... vad folk säger » off La Rambla and two minutes from Placa Catalunya, made it really easy to get around (e.g. bus to/from airport from placa catalunya and metro so clo - The location couldn't have been any better for access to Las Rambla, bus stop, restaurants, and even a small market where we could buy water, drinks, snacks. If you like to walk, close enough to walk to beach and other sites in Barcelona. The shared bathroom facilities were never a problem; access to computer and printer a plus. Staff were all great to answer questions in English. Would stay again if ever back in the area.
