  central, right next to the cathedral and all tourist attractions. Historic building, room decoration fits the building. The hotel's gallic restaurant Enxebre was excellent and reasonable. Great (!!!!) sea food. The staff is very nice. - The hostal itself is beautiful, a place to visit. It is perfectly located in the middle of Santiago.   The location of the hotel was very good, very close to the old market, Plaza de Abastos and to the historic centre of Santiago. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The building and decor were very attractive. The food in the restaurant was of a very good quality and the "menu del dia" in particular was very good value for money. - Everyt... vad folk säger » hing. First hotel workers, very nice informacion about the city and fenomenal personal treat; rooms excelent, our was in the last floor,(3th) silence, comfortable, clean, great decoration etc...definitely make us feel like at home. we will come back.

  Extra long bathtub (I'm tall), excellent sheets and pillows, towel warmer (great for drying damp clothes), and location (close enough to walk to the cathedral and the lively street next to the Pilgrim Office) in the central old part). Hearty breakfasts with yogurt, cereal, and lots of fresh fruits to choose from along with traditional tostada, che... vad folk säger » ese, ham and cafe con leche. - The room is nicely designed, with beautiful double-panelled windows, interesting royal sun design on ceiling, carbed stone wall in bathroom. Bird on ledge next to bathroom was a great touch! Bathroom has a warm, aesthetic feel. Overlooks main entry way for pilgrims on Camino de Santiago. Decent breakfast offered. Friendly staff--speak Spanish and French, some English.
