Delightful converted monastery. While the rooms were basic the building and its gardens were fabulous - we had our picnic lunch in the cloister gardens. Extremely quiet and a quiet location on the university's old campus. Good continental breakfast. Lots of free parking. Great location, just a short walk to the historic centre. -

we stayed for 1 night only at the hesperia peregrino in santiago before moving on to a coruna . we could not have chosen a nicer hotel. the staff were very helpful and most friendly. we did not book breakfast but had coffee and toast around the pool area the price was good and the surroundings were beautiful we were sorry we had booked only one

Very helpful people, good location, clean room, not too expensive - The hotel is an old fashion family owned establishment. It is in a walking distance to the old city, restaurants, shops, park, etc.
The price includes a very good breakfast that can satisfy any one's taste and diet are requirements.

I have to say that my experience with this hostel was very positive. There is nice guy caring about the hostel and more there is a nice garden where you can find also in small stone house a separated kitchen. Futhermore in the morning the cock will wake you up:))
