  I really enjoyed my stay here at Residencia Lourdes. The women who runs this hostel is very nice and is more than willing to give you advice on where to go and places to have fun. The living conditions are a bit tight but is a great location very close to all the fun and sight seeing. - Small rooms but we had everything we needed, the fridge and... vad folk säger » microwave served just fine as a kitchen, the bathrooms were shared but we never saw anyone else there. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent cleaning and comfortable beds!

  First of all, we have to say that the staff was unbelievable!! All of them were extremely friendly and extremely helpful as we had lots of questions and requests. The room was exactly what we needed…no complaints. We stayed for 2 nights and you cannot beat the price. Thank you for making our stay in Madrid an unforgettable and excellent experienc - Hotel staff spoke very good English, and they were very pleasant. It was very quiet inside all the hallways and doors, so I knew I would be able to sleep well. Safe. We had a key to get into the building later in the evening. The evening staff worked very hard to print out a ticket for us. He was very kind to do so. Polite, honest, hard working. The mini frig was a wonderful item, as was the hairdryer. I would gladly recommend the Hostal, especially if you want to be in the center of Madrid.

  Walking distance to Puerta del Sol and metro. There's restaurant and a convenient store just downstairs. The room was air-conditioned, which is a nice escape from Madrid's hot summer. - Great location, value for money, the staff is stay at the hotel 24 hours.

  Great location, just two blocks away from "Puerta del sol" and "Plaza mayor". Clean rooms and bathroom at a great price. Public parking is just 1/2 a block away. It's a great base location to walk around Madrid. Senora Remedios and Mr Vicente are the very friendly couple that runs the place.   The location was excellent 1 minute walk away from the centre.Very clean,aer conditioned, staff so friendly and accommodating. Also we travelled with a baby and there was a lift which was great as we had the buggy.

  The hotel was what I would consider a 5 star. The decor were very modern, very comfortable, immaculate. The shower was spacious and had three different shower heads. A nice touch for the weary traveler. It was called Puerto del Alcala was newly refurbish and very clean.
