  I really enjoyed my stay here at Residencia Lourdes. The women who runs this hostel is very nice and is more than willing to give you advice on where to go and places to have fun.   First of all, we have to say that the staff was unbelievable!! All of them were extremely friendly and extremely helpful as we had lots of questions and requests. The room was exactly what we needed…no complaints. We stayed for 2 nights and you cannot beat the price. It was very quiet inside all the hallways and doors, so I knew I would be able to sleep well. Safe. We had a key to get into the building later in the evening. The evening staff worked very hard to print out a ticket for us. He was very kind to do so. Polite, honest, hard working. The mini frig was a wonderful item, as was the hairdryer. I would gladly recommend the Hostal, especially if you want to be in the center of Madrid.

  The hotel was what I would consider a 5 star. The decor were very modern, very comfortable, immaculate. The shower was spacious and had three different shower heads. A nice touch for the weary traveler.
