  Location was amazing. Starbucks across the street, shops, restaurants and Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas within walking distance. Equally close to the metro and sightseeing tour buses. Coming into the airport, I was able to get on the inexpensive Aerobus and get dropped off at Pl. Catalunya which made it even better when carrying my luggage. The wifi worke - This was my first time in a hostel & it was a good experience. Location was the best. Placa Catalunya is a good starting point to see the whole of Barcelona, links to the whole city from there. Next to La Rambla, supermarkets & several high st shops. Rooms were spacious, loved the plug socket, nightlight & privacy curtain. To save money I bought food from local supermarket & used the hostels kitchen facilities. Very useful under bed lockers, my belongings were always safe there.

  Definitely the location + the kindness of the lady who was taking care of the space. She is so friendly and so helpful. You kind of feel yourself sharing home with 'old friends' and not really in a hostel. I only stayed over for a night but it was enough to feel the spirit of the place.   Friendly helpful staff willing to help in anyway possible, good planned night activities including pub crawls and a tasty paella night. Superb location seconds from the metro and the airport train.   We enjoyed our stay here! Very homely and the staff we very accommodating especially with all our tourist questions. Very close to Las Ramblas and all the fun.   It was our first time in Bcn. Staying at Backpackers House Bcn make us feel like home. Its location very in the city center; very convenience to walk around in the city, to take a bus, to take a metro/train. The bus and metro stations are just around the corner. We want to go again to Barcelona and SURELY we will stay again at Backpacker House Bcn... vad folk säger » . The staff are very friendly, helpful and always smile. They really make us feel like at home staying at Backpacker House Bcn. - Excellent positioning - 2 min on foot from a shopping area/Starbucl/Universitat Metro and max 10-15 min on foot from Placa de Catalunya and La rambla. It saves you a lot of time if you want to visit places and don't like to spend too much time in the subway or with your map trying to see where the nearest subway is. The personell is very nice and the places looks pretty well.

  Nice clean hotel, close to all the action and the metro. Situated in a back lane, it was very quiet. There was an elevator from the first floor upwards. There was also a community refrigerator to keep things cold. Grocery store and breakfast was available close by on the street itself. The staff was very friendly and courteous.   One pillow is a lovely little hostal 30m from the metro and 200m from the marina. The hostal its self is in a little side street and up on the 4th floor, look for the ally with the pub that sells gunnies, at the end on the left is the hostal. The hostal is cleaned every day around mid day and the breakfast is nice for the price, nicer then another... vad folk säger » hostal I stayed at in Barcelona for twice the price. The staff speak good English and are friendly and if I go back to Barcelona will go back to this - Lovely and clean, was so much more than I expected for the price we paid! Got free wifi and breakfast was really good with a selection of juice, cereal and toast/crossiants and tea and coffee. Showers and toilets were really clean didn't have to que for the four nights I was there and it was fully booked during this time too. Staff were really polite and a perfect location just off La Rambla

  The location is great , 7 min walk from la rambles liceu station, 5 min from the market, near the university so many young people. Its very simple and basic but met my requirements for a place to sleep and shower for a decent price, I would stay again. The room includes a bed, a closet, a desk and chair and shower and toilet. The rooms are clean - This hotel is situated near by the Rambles (view minutes walking, and its metro station) and the end station of the airport buss (10 minutes walking). Hotel is clean and well maintained, breakfast simple but good for this price. Reception staff is friendly and supportive. Hotel is central to the most tourist highlights in the city.   Check in quick and simple,arrived to room and it was a rwal suprise for the money paid, modern and very clean , room had a small balcony,TV,Air Conditioning, and you are given a swipe-card to access your room and main hotel entrance which felt very secure! Of course you have to keep on mind it is not a Hotel, but I think you are not going to Barcelona to stay in the room :)
