The location is great , 7 min walk from la rambles liceu station, 5 min
from the market, near the university so many young people. Its very
simple and basic but met my requirements for a place to sleep and shower
for a decent price, I would stay again. The room includes a bed, a
closet, a desk and chair and shower and toilet. There is a small tv but
didn’t try it. The rooms are clean and I asked for a quiet room so I got
room 117 facing an inner yard so no noise but no view. The rooms are
clean. alla recensioner »
This hotel is situated near by the Rambles (view minutes walking, and its metro station) and the end station of the airport buss (10 minutes walking). Hotel is clean and well maintained, breakfast simple but good for this price. Reception staff is friendly and supportive. Hotel is central to the most tourist highlights in the city. Suggestion, take a guided tour (or tapas tour), through the city by bike, interesting to get more details about this town.
Positive remark to this hotel, we l.
I stayed 7 nights. I liked everything about the hotel. It was centrally located and very clean. The breakfast consisted of eggs, croissaints, muffins, cornflakes, yogurth, cheese, juice and a few other things and during the week there is also two hot dishes.
I found the neighbourhood very diverse (you have both homeless people and all other kinds of people) and also safe.
The hotel can be noisy but I asked for a quiet room (they don't have a wiew) and that was fine.
When comparing the cost of t.
It is a great hotel for the price. It is located on a couple of minutes walking distance from the Ramblas, but you will not have the noise of it. The breakfast is limited, but fine. When you know the number and street of the hotel and you look good on the map, it is also easy to find. On a next trip I would definitely book this hotel again. There are also plenty of shops around to get some water and snacks, also in the evenings.
So the hotel is perfect if you want a good place to sleep, but do .
The Residecia is very close to the main sites and activities of the old city . The staff are very helpful . This is not a holiday hotel so it is very quiet inside and very safe. Perfect base to explore the old city . It is on the Raval side of the old town so you can find much more authentic bars and cafe's with much lower prices than on La Rambla . Ask the staff for recommendations they always seem happy to help .
Hotel is perfectly placed in the center of Barcelona. Very close to Rambla and Metro station. Personel was friedly and hotel was very clean. Room are not very comfortable but clean and has everything which is necessery. My room was extra quit. There were no even one noise all weekend. Breakfasts were great! All together was very good! trust me.
I am one of the Investigadors for whom it is a Residència. The rooms are
simple, they have a desk, a chair and a bed, the internet connections
are excellent. It is a great place to stay if you are visiting the
university. It is not a fancy Hotel, it is a very simply Residencia.
Staff are so friendly and helpful, have a good connections to everywhere, you can also reach several good places within a walking distance, rooms are clean, breakfast was much better than expected. most of all the location is very nice.
Close to La Ramblas, yet far enough away. Very quiet building at night with 24hr security. Wifi signal is strong and fast. Breakfast is good. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Great value for money. Great facilities.
Reception staff were excellent All were very helpful and friendly at
all times Would like to convey our thanks Location was great Our
request for a quiet room was met. Our room was very quiet and peaceful.
Thank you all.
Location close to interesting places to see. Walking to many of them was no problem,
Great selection at included breakfast.
Interesting historical hotel.
Free wifi and use of computer room.
Would like to let you know that the stuff is outstanding friendly and helped us a lot.
I will make a lot of positiv propaganda!
Thx a lot.
We will be coming back.
Regards.

Great Location. Very central. Less than 10 minutes walk from the airport bus, 2 mins from Las Ramblas. Friendly staff. Happy to sign for/receive my delayed bag from the airline.
The location. Right at the old town centre (Ciutat Vella) where all the fun can be had (especially at night). The room is economical but the bathroom is spacious and clean.
Very clean, basic but comfortable. Great location. Breakfast very basic but all that I needed - toast , juice & coffe/ tea. I would stay again no worries at all.
1. The food was very good for the price.
2. The staff was really helpful.
3. It is some how quiet at night
4. it's very near to many of the public transportation.
We had a room with a very nice view. Cleaning is exellent!!! Comfortable
place for work near the window. Location is perfect - close to
everything important:).
Location near La Rambla, safety, clear and with all that I alone occupance of bathroom, silent, long time for breakfast, 24-h desk...
Basic, but new and very clean room. Good windows, so no problems with sounds from street.
Air-conditioning and wifi worked perfect.
Central but quiet location with easy access fron the airport. Inexpensive and convenient for a short stay. Good breakfast.
Polite staff, clean, good breakfast, spacious rooms, downtown location close to seaside.
I liked the friendly staff & the location as it's so near to many sightseeings.
perfect location
clean rooms
simple as bonjour
BARCELONA!!!!

I liked it because I could everywhere in Barcelona easily beside its
good sttaf.
Looks and feels like a brand new hotel. Breakfast was good. Rooms were spacious.
Close to the city centre. Free Wi-fi. Clean and inexpensive for the location.
It's cheap if you book early. Good location. Clean rooms with an OK breakfast.
Excellent location, language-speaking stuff, great value for money.

Almost everything was perfect.
Location and staff were great.

location, value for money.

Location is excellent.
Location.Price.
Good location.
Rooms were clean, and lighting was good. Hardly 5 mins walk from Les Ramblas and the nearest metro station Liceu, made it comfortable to travel.
Nice room. Clean. 5 minute walk from Ramblas, great location. Easy to walk to many of the main tourist attractions. Breakfast good.
I liked the location and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
good location (near La Ramblas),
clean room, good breakfast.
Location near to metro station and market.
location, value for money.
There is no fridge in the room or a kettle. There isn’t really a lobby,
but there is a lounge on the -1 floor with sofas and vending machines.
Every time you need to leave the hotel you need to live your key at the
reception desk.
It would have been nice with a small refrigerator in the room.
If it would have had a refrigerator, it would have been even fantastic.
Right on the street so at night it can be very noisy if your room is on the front , especially when they are collecting the rubbish at 2am .
I didnt like the bed. It was not comfortable but maybe it depeds on person.
If you think the elevator is too slow you should probably be walking the
stairs. If you think the breakfast are too simply you should go to El
Pinotxo at the market (5 minute walk, some of the best chefs in
Barcelona get their breakfasts there). If you are not happy with the
staff, just remember that among the entire staff they speak more
languages than you can name.
But be careful in the neighborhood (particularly at night), there are many pickpockets feeding on the tourists.
Walls are thin so you can what is happening outside your room as if it is inside the room but that wasn't a big issue as we stayed there for 3 nights and happened only once or twice.
Breakfast food was limited Also water in flask for tea was not hot and
neither was coffee. Both were lukewarm.
Noise at night from street, when I asked for a quieter room location, the staff did fond me a quieter room. You might want to specify this when making a reservation.
The doors to the rooms are heavy and slap shut automatically making a lot of noise especially early in the morning when people leave or return late at night.
Breakfast could be with more choice.
Bit sparse. White walls, few bits of furniture. Lino on the floor.
Not dislike, but could improve on the choices of breakfast offerings to include at least some locally consumed stuff and not just the generic ham and cheese, bread and cereal stuff.
1. there must be a sign indicatng it's position bcoz it wasnt obvious to me.
2. if there's a safe in the room, it'd be better.
Breakfast might be better. It was cold in the room, when the weather in
Barcelona wasn't good.
By niht, whwn I come tre first nigt, the sicurity-one woman knows only spanish, no english, no italian, no one of laungage.
Next morning one girl on the reception wos very inpolite, very, very. she sad that she has more scools than I and she..
Very sparsely furnished with narrow single bed but fair enough for the modest price.
No WiFi internet.
I didn't like the noise from the street.
elevator was a little slow.
Shower head was lower than your head (uncomfertable). If you come with a car plan your route carefully.
Uncomfortable beds, cheap bathroom fittings. Having to leave your key at reception (anyone can walk in and say your room number and get your key).
No hot breakfast is served as advertised.
Only negative point: smelly wardrobe.
Breakfast-bad choise and every day same, same, same.... really boring...
the neighborhood.
What I got was pretty close to what I was expected, thus there was nothing in particular that I did not like.
too small rooms.
Nights are quite noisy but of course it's not an hotel's responsibility, it's just Barcelona.
Nothing.
some noise.
same breakfast everyday.
no small fridge in the room.
Breakfast not upto mark, specially on weekends when it is served cold. No coffee-maker in the room.
No view from the room.Breakfast was average, not alot of choice.
I didn't like the breakfast much and would prefer a "no breakfast" option when booking (but I often find that with hotels). The bedding also kept slipping off but, as it was warm, that wasn't too much of a problem.
very noisy, very small shower, unfavourable street.
expensive if just consider facility in the room, price is decided by a location.
