  Location was perfect. 5 minutes walk from the Grand Via Metro. Reception 24hrs. Maria (the host) was very friendly and helpful. I felt like being at home rather then a privat mini hotel (especially after four days). The rooms were cleaned every day which includes fresh towels (to my very own surpise). The whole place was spotless. Bathroom lacked ... vad folk säger » on space but manageable. Would I stay there again - yes I would! Simplicity is the key! - Hostal Hispano takes WiFi seriously! It is strong and reliable . My room (220) was nice, spacious and quiet. Very clean and lots of fresh white towels. There's a coffee and refreshments machine in the lobby. The area were the hostel is located is terrific. My compliments to the sweet staff.

  We enjoyed our stay in Madrid! The room was very nice, clean and decorated with a lot of love. It was in the city center and all sights are in walking distance. The personal was very friendly and warm-hearted. We felt welcome and would recommend the hostal. :-) - Everything was excellent!   This hostel is a family owned small hotel. But they hire 2 employees who cam speak good english, and very kind and helpful to guest. The location of the hotel is great. In walking distance to most sightseing place. And very near by to metro. And nearby the hotel, there is a good restaurant, serving from breakfirst to dinner. But is close to Metro and lots of eating places. The staff we're good, the lady sold us tix to tourist bus at seniors rates. Room was very small but comfortable. No ac but they gave us a fan. You could open french doors to street but very noisy, even at 2:00am

  I love the location of the place. the Hostel is not busy or full of people, which I really enjoyed. It it is small, staff is very friendly and the price is good. we had a room with two double beds, we were with 2 girls - The place where the hostel is amazing.   The hotel location could not be beat. The breakfast was good and plentiful and was served until 11am. The hotel also had check-out times as late as 3pm. - Clean, quiet and comfortable room with plenty of space to move around. Older hotel but reasonably well maintained. Breakfast was acceptable.

  Very good staff service - Very central for shopping, theatres, sightseeing and eating. There was a Metro station less than 5 minutes walk away. There were lots of good restaurants, cafes and bars nearby but the rooms were quiet.
