  Location was perfect. 5 minutes walk from the Grand Via Metro. Reception 24hrs. Maria (the host) was very friendly and helpful. I felt like being at home rather then a privat mini hotel (especially after four days). The rooms were cleaned every day which includes fresh towels (to my very own surpise). Simplicity is the key! - Hostal Hispano takes WiFi seriously! It is strong and reliable . My room (220) was nice, spacious and quiet. Very clean and lots of fresh white towels. There's a coffee and refreshments machine in the lobby. The area were the hostel is located is terrific. My compliments to the sweet staff.

  We enjoyed our stay in Madrid! The room was very nice, clean and decorated with a lot of love. It was in the city center and all sights are in walking distance. The personal was very friendly and warm-hearted. We felt welcome and would recommend the hostal. :-) - Everything was excellent!   This hostel is a family owned small hotel. But they hire 2 employees who cam speak good english, and very kind and helpful to guest. The location of the hotel is great. In walking distance to most sightseing place. And very near by to metro. And nearby the hotel, there is a good restaurant, serving from breakfirst to dinner. But is close to Metro and lots of eating places. The staff we're good, the lady sold us tix to tourist bus at seniors rates. Room was very small but comfortable. No ac but they gave us a fan. You could open french doors to street but very noisy, even at 2:00am

  The hotel location could not be beat. The breakfast was good and plentiful and was served until 11am. The hotel also had check-out times as late as 3pm. - Clean, quiet and comfortable room with plenty of space to move around. Older hotel but reasonably well maintained. Breakfast was acceptable.

It is not in the midle of the touristic spot so you dont see 40+ years old tourists waddling around in their "comfortable" attire when you go outside of you hotel, instead, you are in the middle of the trendiest area. You can take express bus from the airport (24h) for only 5EUR and get off in Plaza Cibeles which is 5 minutes walking from the hotel. Y - We had a wonderful time in this beautifully designed and extremely well located hotel. Staff were very friendly, elegant and welcoming. Attention to detail is for sure one of the key principles of this hotel, starting with the welcome (someone opening the door for you, we got offered as well a glass of Champagne to welcome us, water was provided for free in the room, ...). Breakfast was served in a beautiful semi terrace... and it was a la carte, which i personally prefer and find it more perso
