  Good facilities, I read some reviews before booking, I am pleased I did not believe them all as my 7 day stay was extremely acceptable. Good secure parking, excellent access to accomodation, clean comfortable, well equiped rooms. Very friendly multi lingual staff. Good location with short walk to the Old Town. Bilbao has an excellent tram system and Metro, so traveling around is easy. Staff very friendly and helpful.

  The staff and the showers - I was at Hotel Bilbi for a day in December 08.It was a nice place to stay, warm and quiet. A few steps away from the river, the old town centre. My room was excellent, very good price value ratio. Friendly and very helpful staff, they gave best info at any time.I'll return to Bilbi Jan 09 and ever so.

  It was next to the old town which was within 10mins walk of the hotel (although up a hill on the way home). We felt the old town had a lovely buzz in the evening, very Spanish and not many tourists. The hotel was very clean, and paying 50 euros a night made the hotel extremely good value for money. The hotel is about 15-20 mins from the airport, ... vad folk säger » which costs about 25 euros. - This was a stop for convenience for us before getting the ferry early next day. It was easy to find and park and easy to get to the port in 30 minutes. The parking was secure and the room large and comfortable though a bit impersonal. Due to time restrictions we ate at the hotel which was fine.....not outstanding but quite good and suited us for the last night in Spain.

  Location great - short walk from station and right in middle of old town. Virtually all areas of interest accessible on foot - we didn't need public transport. Close to numerous restaurants etc. large room. - The location is fantastic, in the "Casco Viejo" of Bilbao, near stores, bars, restaurants and very near the tram and the river.   For the money, it was one of the most spacious and bright rooms I have had for the category. The criticisms that this place got was minor and I don't get it. One side of the room is floor to ceiling windows. Really light and bright. Clean and spacious for the price. Right in the Old Town close to bars and restaurants and you can walk everywhere. The outside of the pension has p** on it even though the name is - Location couldn't have been better, right in the old town. Staff were lovely, though English isn't really spoken they will do their best to communicate. Room was really nice. Breakfast isnt' fancy but it is adequate (Tea, coffee, toast, ceral and pastry) Entry is via buzzer only and you need to leave room key in reception when you leave.

  This didn't feel like any other hotel, it was like you were staying in someone's home - from the decor to the breakfast to the way we were treated. The double room we got was very comfortable and it looked like a little cottage in the city. The location is very central - we were in the old town and we could walk to the Guggenheim and La Ribera Market. The day we stayed in Bilbao, th - We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was very friendly and helpful (and spoke excellent English). The room was so homey-it was nice to go out in the rain and go "home" to a warm and comfortable room. The heaters worked quickly and the room was large and clean. The breakfast in the morning was good-tea/coffee and an assortment of bread products (and fruit and yogurt, if desired).   We stayed here for one night and found the staff fabulous. We were emailed once we booked to confirm they had the baby travel cot we needed. They also offered us a baby bath. While there they even shared a couple of toys with our daughter which she loved. The room was comfortable and the washrooms were clean. It was an easy walk to the Guggenheim ... vad folk säger » and then to the old section for a delightful evening of pinchos. - I will return to Bilbao and will definitely stay in Pension Zubia, a budget friendly lodging -Excellent excellent excellent accomodation- clean, ideal location ,warm friendly service. Breakfast is not served but there is lovely coffee served directly opposite building .No wonder it has got such good reviews.Thank you
