  Having read lots of other reviews which said that it's not very private and the walls are made of paper, we weren't sure about staying there but in the end we were the only people in the hostel and it wasn't a problem.   I really appreciated the warmth of the welcome, the owner had learnt English later in life - again appreciated his efforts. He gave good recommnedations on where to go to eat and drink. The rooms were small but spotlessly clean and very warm. Breakfast consisted of copious amounts of fresh bread and butter, ham, cheese, honey, toast and a fried eg... vad folk säger » g, packet croissants and madeleine cakes, and a large pot of fresh coffee with an even larger jug of warm milk. Set me up for the day! - I felt most welcome and every effort was made to ensure my comfort. I appreciated the efforts made by the staff on reception to make sure I had any information I might need. Maps and advice on places of interest and restaurants etc was offered on arrival. The breakfast provided was excellent and was served in a friendly and attentive manner. All staff including the staff cleaning the rooms were friendly and greeted one with a smile.

  Hotel's place was very good, right in the centre, very near to the historic places. We walked almost everywhere, although we had rented a car. The room was perfectly clean.The price we payed was reasonable. While the street is very quiet (and safe), the building is soundproof.   We had no problems parking-and ended up seeing the hotel as soon as we emerged from the garage-perfect! It's right next to the police station, so very quiet and safe (not that other parts of the city aren't). It was a very short walk to the cathedral and the city was fantastic to wander through. The heat was on, there was a hair dryer for me to use, they even had an electric kettle and tea sitting in our room - It was excellent in all ways * it was clean, nicely designed , bright, warm, open and friendly , just around the corner from the cathedral, but with ready access to taxis too. the staff , Diego and the young woman (whose name I didn't get) were exceptionally friendly and helpful ~~ in short a delightful place !!
