The room was huge and had a balcony around that corner that had a great sea view. Quirky decoration and good place to chill out with lots of places to eat nearby. The basement parking was an unexpected bonus. -

After a day on the road coming to the "Vineyard" is like paradise. We were upgraded to the garden suite at no further cost and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. medicine and helped nurse me when I had sunstroke, gave my wife a
blanket to keep her warm at the rugby and lent us their gps to get
there. Beautiful accommodation, really comfy bed and option to dine on

We arrived late (7:00pm) and the place was locked up and we were not expected. The host eventually answered his phone and said that he was not expecting anybody as nobody had advised him of the booking. Great location close to the beach and restaurants. Wonderful view of the sea from the open deck. Very amiable hosts. Good braai facilities including wood, charcoal and firelighters. Vouchers for breakfast at the restaurant next door; 60 rands in value PP which is enough for a full english, an extra round of toast, coffee and enough left over for a tip for the friendly waiter.

The backpack was a really comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The common areas were laid back & relaxed and the place was very clean. It was my second time at this hostel and I came back three years later because I liked it. Apart from it being excellent for what is officially a backpackers place I really appreciate the attitude of owners and staff who are supporting community projects and take recycling seriously, something that is still not very wide spread in South Africa. Excellent Sandwiches and breakfast.

This lovely old home with high pressed ceilings and a lovey view of the mountains and church was right in the middle of town. We could walk everywhere and the advice on places to visit from our very friendly hosts was great. The breakfast was also very good and set us up for a day of touring.

Convenience of shopping mall for breakfasts etc and security - Friendly reception, efficient. the check in and check out was excellent.I appreciated they were clued up on parking arrangements. the hotel was very centrally located and close to everything, Easy accessibility. I really liked it.
