  We loved our stay in the upper deck at the Boathouse. The room was spacious, well designed and very comfortable. We had an amazing view over the bay from our private balcony and all of the amenities that we needed (kettle, fridge etc). The best thing of all was the owners, Therese and Lud, who were incredibly friendly, helpful and interesting. ... vad folk säger » The breakfasts were amazing and included home-made muffins, which were delicious, and if you couldn't fit them in after a very tasty cooked breakfast - The owners were lovely and helpful, couldn't do enough - (fresh choc muffins in room each day). Accommodation was great, we stayed in family "apartment" which was ideal space. Loved the games room and swimming pool (but would be even better in summer!). Ideal base to visit both city (capetown) and coast (sharks, whales, cape point). Would love to come back for longer!

  The owner of the lodge and his wife were very helpful and attentive. The lodge itself was quietly situated with views of the nearby bay and well laid out with excellent facilities. It was within easy reach of Cape Town and the beautiful coastline. Top marks from us and would definitely return in the future.

  The room and facilities were clean and comfortable. The view was absolutely amazing and it was just a nice, relaxing place to stay.   We liked the owner. He was very friendly. He gave us great tip where to eat. Info about the country etc.The rooms were perfect. The beds were great.The place was spotless. We would go back any time.Downstairs rooms have a terrass with great garden.   A hotel like a garden of relaxation right at the bottom of Cape Town's stunning table mountain. The hotel is very charming with a big garden to wander around and a good pool area. The gym and Spa are very good. All rounded up by a good offer of food with the Myogo restaurant as a high end option with an excellent value for money 7-dish course. The... vad folk säger » service in the whole hotel is very good with some typical South African attributes of "everybody wants to helps" which sometimes leads to confusing i - I have stay at this hotel each year for a week for business. I noticed this time that the same staff are still working there. I think this says a lot about staff turnover. The staff are very positive always happy to hep, nothing is ever to hard. I had an issue with a pick up being late and it was dealt with quickly and the transport manager was waiting for me to apologise for the error. This hotel is a beautiful place and when you are here you are treated as family, a pleasure staying

  I usually stay at the Waterfront and only chose the Taj out of neccesity because everyone else was full with Argus bookings. I was very pleasantly surprised. This is an excellent 5 star hotel at a fraction of the cost of some competitors. The city location is vibrant and interesting.
