  Every thing was beautiful. The lodge, the views, the staff. Even the unbaved 3km road was part of the adventure. We stayed 5 nights (family with children) and all had peace of mind. - The location is magnificent with the lights of Capetown and table mountain at your feet!

  The location was good for exploring the local wineries and the surrounding area. The amenities at the hotel were very good, the gardens and the pool area were very well maintained and very pleasant. Hilda and Luc were the best hosts and Hilda's cooking in particular was well worth the visit in itself. To keep a long story short I'll just say that we are so pleased with Luc and Hildes hosting, the guesthouse and last but not the least Hildes cooking. It is just perfection! And having a nice and quiet 18 hole golf course around the corner (<2 km) is a bonus for us.

  An amazing boutique hotel located in the high hills above Knysna. A car is essential given the intimidating walk! The main building which is more than one hundred years old is a converted family house hence the very cosy atmosphere. We had ocean view rooms but the view of the magnificent grounds, pool and gardens is equally good. The overall hospitality offered by the management and staff made our stay in - This beautiful boutique hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the knysna estuary. Our room was perfectly decorated with amazing views over the lagoon. The bathroom was very spacious. The variety and quality of the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hosts and the staff were extermely friendly and helpful. The hotel has large and beautiful garden. We can highly recommend this hotel.

  The facilities and rooms are superb. The eco-pool is a nice feature, something different. It is about a 15 minute drive to town but staying in a secluded setting is worthwhile.
