The main building which is more than one hundred years old is a converted family house hence the very cosy atmosphere. Our room was perfectly decorated with amazing views over the lagoon. The bathroom was very spacious. The variety and quality of the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hosts and the staff were extermely friendly and helpful. The hotel has large and beautiful garden. We can highly recommend this hotel.

  Every thing was beautiful. The lodge, the views, the staff. Even the unbaved 3km road was part of the adventure. We stayed 5 nights (family with children) and all had peace of mind. - The location is magnificent with the lights of Capetown and table mountain at your feet!

  The location was good for exploring the local wineries and the surrounding area. The amenities at the hotel were very good, the gardens and the pool area were very well maintained and very pleasant. Hilda and Luc were the best hosts and Hilda's cooking in particular was well worth the visit in itself. To keep a long story short I'll just say that we are so pleased with Luc and Hildes hosting, the guesthouse and last but not the least Hildes cooking. It is just perfection! And having a nice and quiet 18 hole golf course around the corner (<2 km) is a bonus for us.

  We absolutley loved this place. The rooms were beautiful with very tasteful decor so much so we are transforming our own home to copy some of the style of Ah Guesthouse! For the food lovers who like fine dining you must take advantage and book in for the 4 course dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay we even purchased a gift voucher for one n - the place was beautiful and we loved every minute of it. Arnold and Annelise were fantastic and very attentive, the dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, what a treat! Take a room upstairs and you can enjoy a fantastic view and relax sipping a nice glass of wine. It was winter, but we were lucky to have the best weather and the house was very cosy and bedroom comfortable and warm!

  The facilities and rooms are superb. The eco-pool is a nice feature, something different. It is about a 15 minute drive to town but staying in a secluded setting is worthwhile.
