  Room was large and nicely decorated. The large bed was very comfortable and the room had with lots of windows and a balcony. The hosts put in a lot of thought and effort into making Penelope's Guesthouse a wonderful place to stay at in Stellembosh. Breakfast was excellent. The hosts were charming. Free parking and wi-fi. There's a pool in... was die leute sagen » the back. Stellenbosh is a beautiful place to visit. A car is a must to reach the center of town or the wine estates close by. The Guesthouse is loc - We loved our stay at Penelope's Guesthouse. Penelope is a great host, she recommend great vineyards for wine tasting and offered great assistance whenever needed. She offers a great full breakfast with fruit, croissant, yogurt, cheese, eggs, etc.. The breakfast is served on her garden terrace . It is very, very clean. The rooms are very large and well equipped. It was a pleasure to stay at her guesthouse and I will definitly return if ever I we have a chance to. I highly recommend this

From the welcome to the farewell she was always available for suggestions, ideas, destinations to vist and most of all present during breakfast. The breakfast room is a lovely location with comfortable chairs and soothing background music being played, all getting the day off to a great start.

This 17-key hotel is definitely worth a visit if you want service, personal - The complimentary wifi and mini bar, which was replenished daily, are a very nice touch and something that hardly any boutique hotel of this size offers. Our room was lovely, spacious, clean and luxurious and with a great view of the ocean. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and that just made it an even nicer place to stay. Will definitely be returning.

  We couldn't have asked for a better stay while in Stellenbosch. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had beautiful views of the vinyards and the Stellenbosch montains. Sometimes in the morning a light mist would roll over the mountains-- a view that's hard to beat. The hotel staff was AMAZING. It was lost for 3 days and I had n - I could not have picked a better hotel in which to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday. Although I made my booking the night before our arrival, the staff at Asara went above and beyond to make our stay special, even having a delicious cake and champagne ready in our room much to my husband's delight (and I didn't even request this!). Breakfast the next morning was perfect and the setting in which we found ourselves helped us relax and enjoy our little escape to its fullest.

Not only did I organise my own accommodation but booked for 12 other people as well and they all were extremely happy with the facilities staff location and enjoyed their time there. The rooms were practical, comfortable, modern, and affordable. It was like staying in a Hotel with the bonus of Table Mountain views from the bedroom and balcony.

  Due to the off season period it was very quite. A bit artificial but a beautiful place to be. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The Moyo and the Jonkershuis restaurant are both advisable as well. - The relaxing atmosphere, the decor in the lounges and the friendliness of the staff.
