  Staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is clean and quiet, the kitchen is fully equipped. Everything made us feel like living with relatives or family.   Friendly and easy going place - we had a private room with shared showers and toilet which were spotlessly clean. By Moscow standards very good value, and we appreciated the free secure baggage storage room. It even has a currency exchange machine with better rates than the on street exchanges. Free fast wifi in all rooms and all public areas and... vad folk säger » care easy to find from the metro. As we were travelling the next day it was essential to get our visas registered and we expected to pay - 600 rouble - The staff couldn't have been nicer. The facilities were very nice (much nicer than I expected in a hostel) and it was so well priced. Right around the corner from a huge police precinct, so it's also very safe.

  The staff was very kind and courteous. They helped me get my train ticket. They brought me to the train, and helped me with the luggage and settled me down. I was provided with fresh continental breakfast witch helped a lot. The room was very clean, and comfortable.   I was on the last August, is well located near Proletarskaya metro station, the team working there are all of them nice people, very kindly, the place is quite clean, and because of its location there no street noises, I was in a shared room and even the another guests were kind people, u have a locker to put your stuffs inside and the doors have ... vad folk säger » a key, as well.   DOM Hostel was the perfect place to us to stay! We have been cyclying around Russia this summer and the girls managing the Hostel already helped us with the logistics, ie. we spent the first night in DOM Hostel when arriving to Moscow and they kept our bike box in the Hostel until we arrived back two weeks later, they always helped us with questio... vad folk säger » ns about train tables, we used they tourist guide books available for anyone, etc, etc and they even wake up at 4am at night during our last night to - The staff is very friendly and helpful. They all speak English and are willing to help (E.G. make phone calls to arrange problems with luggage, make cheaper taxi reservations, print boarding passes for return flight, ...) Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Close to metro station with good connections to Red square, Kremlin, ... Free wifi. (Basic) breakfast included. Good value for money in Moscow!

  I higly reccomend the hostel Chicago. After our first hotel "HPT" was canceled one day before our arrival we booked Chicago. Cleanliness, warmth, good front of house staff, staff went extra mile, took bags to room, changed pillow, gave info on buses to shopping area, ordered taxis. I would most certainly stay here again, and recommend this accommo... vad folk säger » dation. - I liked the whole hostel design-guys have really put much effort into the wall paintings. I almost believed I stayed in the US and not in Russia because the whole atmosphere was really authentical. Staff was really friendly and easy-going and they always helped me to print out the maps when I needed to go somewhere.
