Staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is clean and quiet, the kitchen is fully equipped. Everything made us feel like living with relatives or family. The location is superb, can walk to Kremlin, Bolchoi theater and St.Basil. The best hostel ever. -

Friendly and easy going place - we had a private room with shared
showers and toilet which were spotlessly clean.
By Moscow standards very good value, and we appreciated the free secure baggage storage room. It even has a currency exchange machine with better rates than the on street exchanges.

I higly reccomend the hostel Chicago. After our first hotel "HPT" was canceled one day before our arrival we booked Chicago. Cleanliness, warmth, good front of house staff, staff went extra mile, took bags to room, changed pillow, gave info on buses to shopping area, ordered taxis.

I liked the whole hostel design-guys have really put much effort into the wall paintings. I almost believed I stayed in the US and not in Russia because the whole atmosphere was really authentical.
Staff was really friendly and easy-going and they always helped me to print out the maps when I needed to go somewhere.
