The past reviews are exactly as it is. The apartment we had was roomy, very quiet, well equipped and clean enough. It is in a safe area. Beware that 60% of the aparts in St Petersbourg have no private bathrooms and kitchens, but this one does!

The location is excellent, you step outside right in the middle of Nevsky prospect. Plenty of places to grab a meal, easy access to any part of the city with the subway station right across the street. This is a very quiet hotel with a few rooms and a very friendly atmosphere. It is located at a walking distance of two metro station of the Nevskii Prospekt and there is a large variety of restaurants, souvenir shop and food ones in the neighborhood.
There is also a tea/shop just below the hotel and it is all day long busy with very good looking

The otel design is unique. Paintings everywhere is a very good idea. Staff is friendly. Location is perfect, just near to the Kazan Kathedral, every important place of St.Pet. is on a wailikng distance and Nevski Street is nearby. Contrary to some negative comments, my room was silent. Perfect cost/quality ratio, good place going to St.Pet as 1-2 people

To reach the hotel from Nevsky Prospekt (one of St Petersburg's major shopping streets), you go from one courtyard into a second - the hotel is therefore separated from the street, eliminating street and traffic noise. Location is great, which is convenience for walking tour and city bus, while it is very near close to Stockmann where you can buy local delicious food then take come back to hotel dinning hall to enjoy it with nice coffee, tea, and, microoven, tableware are also available for use in dining hall.
