  the room felt like a small house: there was a mini bar, a porch with great view to the mountains. we had a kettle in our room which was very helpful. there were computers for use of the guests free of charge with free internet in the lobby. the staff was very helpful and kind. breakfast was great . - We travel with 1,5 year old child and it was... vad folk säger » good choice becasue hotel was quiet with resonable walking distance to main atractions like old city, harbor (10min) or central rail station (15min). Brekfast was delicious with big choice. Reception reacts very fast on your requests.

  The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. - It is close to the Airport, but a taxi ride is still 200kr. The staff were very helpful and after a false start into an unsuitable room, we were efficiently moved into a much more suitable room.

  A nice hotel. Liked the historic scenery. And that the and coffee where available all afternoon. - Freindly hotel, very accomodating in all respects. I requested a quiet room on the top floor with a view and got it all. I had to depart at 4:45 am and the staff made up an adequate breakfast for me. Comfortable hotels that are good value for money... vad folk säger » are rare in Bergen except, I assume during the dead of winter; so I was happy to be at the Park. I initially had booked in the Comfort Hotel and was happy that I changed to the Park. Breakfast was not gourmet but quite satisfactory. - Hotel Park Bergen's rooms are comfortable, though the bathrooms are small and really only accommodate one person at a time. However, they offer a very nice full Norwegian breakfast for the cost of the room, which isn't always provided at all Norwegian hotels, and coffee, tea and snacks are offered 24/7 in the breakfast room, which is very nice for travelers.

  Very contemporary hotel with luxurious lobby. Room was very large, and included a trouser press, coffee machine and small fridge. The bathroom had heated tiles. The breakfast buffet was excellent both in quality and choice. Pancakes were made on the spot with organic maple syrup.   There it was! The iconic Bryggen in full view from our hotel room window. The Scandic Strand could not have been better sited. Below us was the famous Fish Market and the Vagen Waterway, with only a short walk to the Floyen Mountain funicular. Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was varied and more than adequate. Front desk... vad folk säger » staff Christer and Linn were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The only downside was late night music from a waterfront bar which kept us awake o - Room was very large and very comfortable for a family of four. The staff was accommodating, breakfast was good and the hotel was clean and comfortable. We had taken it as a stopover before our trip of the Fjords, the hotel was a great place to spend the night specially since we traveled from Oslo and reached late, there were enough places to grab a bite even at 11 in the night.

  We liked the ambiance; the attention to details; the lovely and thoughtfully decorated (inside and out) mansion where the hotel resides, and the adorable pond in the quiet street nearby. The hotel is situated in a short walking distance from the city center, many restaurants and main tourist attractions; as well as to the central bus station and... vad folk säger » city port. about 10 min outbound; 15 min inbound since it is situated on a hillside. - The hotel's location is quite central, so provides easy access to Bergen's restaurants, shops, and museums. It's all within a 5-10 minute walk. The breakfast was excellent -- one of the best I've had in a long time. The midday check-out time is a nice addition. Too often nowadays the check-out time is 10am. Free biscuits and coffee/tea/hot chocolate from the vending machine in the lounge. The lounge/breakfast room were beautiful.

  We got to there very late, but staff were understanding and left us the key. The flat was clean and included necessary facilities. - It was so nice, we wished we could have stayed longer. Owners very helpfull.
