  We had room number 6oo. We enjoyed very much this room, because it was big and comfortable. Your hotel is really cosy, best situated. We also enjoyed coffee and tea at any time.   The staff was very friendly - free laundry! There are three flyss buss stops very close - only 40€ to get to downtown Bergen (fish market, the mountain tram, train station) The breakfast was delicious, the room very comfortable - I found the price one of the best in Bergen ...   It was a good hotel, close to the centre and that is wat I wanted when Iwas looking for a hotel. Loved the internet access - It is close to the center and very hand to use during the weekend out with friends.I also like the idea to have breakfast outsie the door to be consumed when I feel like it.

  Very friendly stall. We rented 3 rooms for our family. The front desk staff immediately upgraded my wife and my room to a deluxe unit. We had asked for quiet rooms so when we arrived around 2 pm, we were asked if we could wait 1-hour for the requested rooms. The breakfast was excellent and the location could not have been better - right next to the central train station. We were only 1- ni - The hotel exudes old-world charm: nice wood wainscotting, lovely wood floors, and Oriental rugs. A large first floor room stays open all day with complimentary coffee, tea, and fruit and a limited menu. Breakfast is fabulous. Whimsical light fixtures in the rooms add a nice touch. A close walk to the center of town. Across the street from the train station and several blocks from the bus station.

  The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. - It is close to the Airport, but a taxi ride is still 200kr. The staff were very helpful and after a false start into an unsuitable room, we were efficiently moved into a much more suitable room.

  Very contemporary hotel with luxurious lobby. Room was very large, and included a trouser press, coffee machine and small fridge. The bathroom had heated tiles.   There it was! The iconic Bryggen in full view from our hotel room window. The Scandic Strand could not have been better sited. Below us was the famous Fish Market and the Vagen Waterway, with only a short walk to the Floyen Mountain funicular. The only downside was late night music from a waterfront bar which kept us awake o - Room was very large and very comfortable for a family of four. The staff was accommodating, breakfast was good and the hotel was clean and comfortable. We had taken it as a stopover before our trip of the Fjords, the hotel was a great place to spend the night specially since we traveled from Oslo and reached late, there were enough places to grab a bite even at 11 in the night.

  We liked the ambiance; the attention to details; the lovely and thoughtfully decorated (inside and out) mansion where the hotel resides, and the adorable pond in the quiet street nearby. The hotel is situated in a short walking distance from the city center, many restaurants and main tourist attractions; as well as to the central bus station and... vad folk säger » city port. about 10 min outbound; 15 min inbound since it is situated on a hillside. - The hotel's location is quite central, so provides easy access to Bergen's restaurants, shops, and museums. It's all within a 5-10 minute walk. The breakfast was excellent -- one of the best I've had in a long time. The midday check-out time is a nice addition. Too often nowadays the check-out time is 10am. Free biscuits and coffee/tea/hot chocolate from the vending machine in the lounge. The lounge/breakfast room were beautiful.
