  The view of this hotel is very good, a great lake view. We rent an apartment, it's spacious. The small balcony is good for chat and drinks to view such a great lake. It's easy accessible to the main pier and the supermarket nearby. Flåm is a small town, we stayed for 3D2N, one day we took bus to Aurland for hiking, it's convenient. There are some... vad folk säger » trails for hiking in Flåm. We followed the trails to see waterfall. It's good. - The view from our deck was amazing, probably better than the view from the hotels that are nearer to the reail station and port. The room was pretty big, and had all the facilities needed to cook and eat. For those who do not cook, there is a bar/restaurant on the basement that offers basic meals at fair prices.

  Flam is a very beautiful place at the bottom of a fjord, and shouldn't be missed. The hotel is 2 minutes from the train overlooking the fjord. Staff were outstanding, very friendly, welcoming and offering advice on walks in the local area. Facilities were very good. It was winter so not many tourists-which we loved! Would highly recommend Flam a... vad folk säger » nd this particular hotel, although miss summer when tourist numbers are considerable. - This hotel is located in a beautiful spot, a very short walk to the Flam train station and the Gutvagen ferry dock, and next door to Flam's excellent microbrewery/restaurant. Our room was large, bright, had a really nice view from room and balcony, a very comfortable bed, and good reading lights. Staff was friendly and helpful.

  Location right by the fjord, station and ferry dock. Quality of the accommodation is excellent, though being a hostel, it is quite basic. There is a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare yor own food, or eat stuff bought from the Greenway take-away trailer that is just by reception. Surrounding scenery is magnificent. In the territory even there was a kind of cafe with good food and reasonable prices. We felt like at home.

  The hostel is currently closed for repairs due to bust pipes. The Info Desk at the train station directed us to the souveneir shop. The shop is run by the same people and a man kindly gave us a lift to the new accomodation in his van. The replacement accomodation was in a far better location close to the train station and ferry terminal, and was a... vad folk säger » n apartment with two bedrooms which we shared. The apartment had a great view from the loungeroom and was a fully equipped house. Great value for mone - The location is excellent, just 3 mins walk to railway station and port. Monica is very kind and try to pick up us at railway station even we drive by ourself. The hostel do not have so many rooms and we shared a three room apartment with an Italian family. The room for our family is too small but Ok for a one night stay. It is better to stay in bigger room if you have an older child, however the price is quite reasonable.   We rented a two-bedroom cabin. It was modern and comfortable and cozy to live in. The kitchen gave us ability to cook our own food in a very expensive area of Norway. The people who run the place arranged a tour to our hereditary family farm without have been asked to do it. We were so impressed with their thoughtfulness. Trave - Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. We rented a 2 bedroom cabin for 4 people and it was comfortable and very clean. The cabin has a small kitchen with hotplates, a small fridge and all the necessary utensils. We also enjoyed a private bathroom with shower and floor heating. The camping is 3 minutes away from the shops, harbor and railway station.

  First off, Flåm cannot be missed if you're in Norway or Scandinavia. Must check it out. The staff at Fretheim were very helpful and friendly. I was running to catch my train so I didn't have time to thank the server at breakfast but if he sees this thank you very much! The receptionist was even more helpful, told me where to go, what to - The town of Flam is in a beautiful setting at the end of the Fjord- we went hiking and it was breathtaking- so beautiful- I would recommend renting bikes and riding back to Aurland- along the Fjord, a beautiful setting- the bkie ride from Flam to Mrydal is only for people who have experience- it is a winding path, steep mountians and lots of uphill- only do this if you are in shape and know how to ride a mountain bike- you could also walk this trail or part of it
