Aniko, Sonya, Senora Silvia, Patrizia and all the staff are very nice and friendly and will be happy to assist if you need any help.
The hotel is a very special structure built on stilts with very nice rooms w. alla recensioner »
View from the room was awesome, can see the sun rise over the sea from the bed.
Beach is clean and white and goes for miles.
Water is warm and has a nice color.
Room in the tree, pretty fun.
Staff are nice(specially the woman and her daughter who take care of the cleaning).
Jukta was very helpful and really gives a good mood to the place. and gave us good advice before we arrived, like to bring mosquito creme and repelent, or hear plug in case you find the sound of the sea disturbing.

Hotel Amoreira is a place where you find heaven on earth! It has verry
beautifull rooms and the beach is amazing! There is a nice athomsphere.
Everybody sais hello and guests are all verry friendly. Rooms are being
cleaned every day and are verry big. We loved this hotel! We even
changed are plans so we could stay there some more! The breakfast in the
morning is verry nice. You can take whatever you want and you don't
have te wake up early because it stays there till 12am. There is a big
refrid.
This property is right on the beach! It is elevated on stilts giving us a nice cool breeze. The sunrise viewed from our room(#5) is amazing! We really loved how charming and rustic our "habitacion" was. Hammock on our small deck, white cotton embroidered mosquito net suspended on our bed, wood and bamboo all over.
The new owner & manager, Jutka and her trusted Sylvia were genuinely nice to us the whole time. Also, we have free internet, free drinking water, free coffee and some fruit a.
Just loved the location of the hotel right on the beautiful Tulum beach and close to some of the best restaurants and bars. Very relaxing and minimal eco-experience for those who want to get back to nature and use the beautiful sea breeze instead of an air conditioner. Staff were helpful and made an extra effort to make our stay in the paradise more enjoyable. Love it!.
Loved the kitchen where I could cook, but didn't have to do my dishes!
Loved the fabulous sturdy wood and thatch construction of the above ground rooms - architectural masterpieces.
Jutka, the manager, and Sylvia, the housekeeper were very friendly and accomodating.
Direct view of the beach and all the beautiful people.
Loved Tulum Mayan ruins and Gran Cenote.
The hotel was very attractive and blended in very well with its surroundings. It's on one of the best beaches I've ever been to where we were lucky enough to see turtles building nests on the beach under the moonlight.
There is a minimal staff presence, it's very much a help yourself kind of place. But the staff that are there are very friendly and helpful.
+ Very particular and romantic setting: the cabañas are built on posts
about two meter above the beach in the middle of palm trees. Ours had
a direct view of the ocean: spectacular!
+ extremely helpful and obliging staff, owner as well as employees.
+ well-functioning bathroom facilities.
+ good & light breakfast (fruit, toast and drinks).
Perfect location in the middle of the palmtrees jungle just by the beach. We could just walk from our room down to the beach to watch the amazing sunrise in the quiet beach. It was not luxurious but just as it should be. Very homely that we just could cook our own meals in the common kitchen along with the other guests.
amazing place and amazing hungarian stuff running the place, going out of their minds just to help with every small thing. the rooms are great, great breakfast, nice people, everything realy in the middle of the jungle on the beach, good for natire lovers. realy quiet and natural. perfect for honeymoon.
Beautiful, tranquil and relaxing place. The bed was huge and the view
breathtaking and only a few steps to the incredible beach. The welcome
was warm and relaxed and we felt immediately at home. The shared kitchen
was great and we enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel. Highly
recommendable!.
The staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. I had Room Nr. 3, which has its own terrace (with a hammock) and is very private -- beautiful view of the beach and the ocean. The comfort is basic, but everything worked, and it's very well-kept and clean. Thank you for a great stay!.
Fabulous place right on the beach. We had one of the rooms with ocean with, and it was just perfect. 30 seconds to the most beautiful beach and sunbeds etc. provided by the hotel.
Can recommend this to everyone, even though it is not cheap it is good value for money.
Hotel Amoreira was a great location and great design. A beach cabana with a jungle feel. Sylvia and Ricardo were very sweet as well as the other staff. Spacious quaint rooms with culturally designed bathrooms and décor. Great beach view with hammock truly heaven.
The best view from the sea-front rooms. Very romantic atmosphere and great service from the personel (speaking very well english!) Good breakfast, which was included even though it was not part of our reservation according to the confirmation from letsbookhotel.com.
Nicely situated hotel on the beach. Rooms are elevated on pillars and one feels like staying among trees. It gives you a wilderness lodge experience. Reception is just a table on a terass. Very small, family type hotel with just a few personnel.
Excellent location, beautiful. Great 'help yourself' breakfast - plenty on offer. Great part of the beach, plenty of restaurants nearby etc. just really beautiful and relaxing.
The free mineral water in the kitchen was much appreciated.
the open kitchen; staff; the cleanliness of room cleaning (especially after we accidentally tracked in sand); the overall quality of construction of the place; privacy; small scale of the hotel; walking distance to Cafe Banana/Hartwood.
The staff were lovely, the location/beach is amazing. Loved the casual breakfast & being able to use the kitchen for cooking & storing food/cold drinks etc.
Our room was huge with a cute bathroom.
In general, I liked every aspect of the hotel from location to the
staff. Considering the location, I thought the price was reasonable. The
receptionists, Arturo and Sonja, were friendly and helpful.
I loved the position of the Hotel & the beautiful beach right below you. I also thought Jutka who is the manager was very friendly & accomdating.
The hotel is right on Tulum beach, there is an equip kitchen that you can use to cook, the stuff is very nice, we had a great time there.
We loved everything about staying here. The staff were exceptional. So friendly and helpful and what a cool place to stay!!!.
Hotel Amoreia was a tropical paradise. Well maintained Cabanas. Beautiful grounds.
Located 50 ft. from the Caribbean.
- Staff
- Location
- Old wood structure with recent improvements
- View and immediate access to a wonderful beach.
Amazing sea view, rooms are nicely decorated. Beach with white sand, perfect. Nice and welcoming atmosphere.
Great place located right on the beach. Just a few rooms/cabins. Staff is very helpful.
Nice attitude. The director explain us everything.
Incredibly nice beach.
The view, room, eco-friendliness, host, simpliness, kitchen.
quiet, natural style, good place for a relaxed holiday.
Treehouse rooms
Breakfast
Proximity to beach.
Sea view.
Staff was nice. Cool looking environment and hotel.
well it is jungle by sea side, so it is humid(very humid). if you are prepared(as we were) then you are fine. if not prepare it could be a surprise.
None.
We get used to it, but perhaps a fan could help? This might be a problem for people who needs air-conditioned room.
Quotes for airport transfers were expensive compared to the rate we could get locally.
Can't think of anything.
Disappointed in city of Tulum - loved the Tulum eco- hotel area.
All the eating options in the area are very expensive (for Mexico). So if you are staying there for a while, use the supermarket and the kitchen provided in the hotel.
Nothing to complain about! Amoreira is not a luxury accomodation, but
offers a very good value for money for the pricey Tulum area.
It could have been nice if the hotel had had some bicycles available for the guests. A bit of better information regarding the trips that can be done around the area and how to get there. We discovered too late that we could go places by our own using public transportation without the need for depending on arranged trips. Information from the staff regarding this was lacking.
sorry i couldnt find anything bad to write about the place...
Breakfast could be improved, but otherwise nothing really to complain about.
A bar would have been nice but it was also nice to have access to a kitchen to put things that we bought.
Not sure I would have been satisfied with the rooms that don't face the sea - pay a little extra to get the gorgeous view!.
No airconditioning but a fan from the ceiling. No problem when we were there.
The staff didn't have much general info about the area...where we could rent bikes, where the nearst ATM is etc. nice people but not proactive on the info front! Not a big issue but more info always helps (FYI the nearest ATM is only 1 minute away south on the road!).
Would be nice if the hotel had a bar or restaurant. Not an issue as loads around but was surprised it didn't offer more.
breakfast nook is a bit too and back from the ocean view; we took our plates out to the loungers on the beach though and it was great.
nothing really, the only small thing would be brighter lighting in the room but being off the grid i guess you can't really help it!.
One minor inconvenience was that the room 1's shower had very slow
drainage. On my first night, the water overflowed and almost reached the
bed. Instead of letting the receptionist know, I handled the problem by
turning the shower on and off to let the water drain before it
overflowed.
I did not like that it how grown so much in 8 years & there seems to be out of control development in that region.
There is no air conditioner in the the room, if you don't have a car you will need to take a taxi to the center and the supermarket.
Nothing.
- Cleaning in the linen could be improved.
if you have trouble to sleep, the sound of the waves can be an issue (you can't have it all: sea view without sea sound!).
The restaurants nearby are a bit pricy, but you can always take a cab into town where there are a lot of more places to choose from.
We stayed for 3 nights, and we have to change the room after 2nd. But we solve it together with hotel management.
a little hot at night in the room.
Proximity to town
Lack of any bar/restaurant on site.
Shower needed de scaling.
Too Hot in the room. Fans are insufficient and it was blazing hot. No bar on premises and no restaurant is a hindrance. But, we knew about the bar and the restaurant going into it and the fact that it didn't have air conditioning but the honeymoon suite was unbarable as the window and breeze were insufficient.
