We just got back from our trip and stayed at Santa Matia Hotel. We stayed for 7 night. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very freindly. Our room was very large bigger than any one we had when staying at an all inclusive. Very large shower for 2. The room had a microwave 2 burner stove sink and a bar fridge. The appartements are very luxerios, beds are comfortable and TV and WiFi fine. There are some useful tools in the kitchen, but don't expect cooking, boiling eggs are the most you can do and there is a wine opener and a microwave. For breakfast it is ok, but go dining in the nearby restaurants up the street towards town. There's a big supermarket and a Starbucks opposite the area. We love the family who owns this hotel, the superior service, and the great breakfasts on the terrace. We have stayed there for many years. -

The service was impressive, as the guys running the place were truly helpful (they even drove me to the rental car place. The location is superb, especially if you like walking to the beach; and facilities great (clean and neat) I really enjoyed those relaxed surfing day. Thanks a lot to David, his family and Frijol. -
