Excellent budget hotel within a 10 min walk of Plaza Grande and one
block from Paseo de Montejo. The spacious room was spotless and cleaned
every day and the air conditioning was excellent! The desk staff were
also extremely welcoming and accommodating -

lines to negotiate.

Merida was our first destination, and this was our first trip to the peninsula. We were not prepared for how run-down and chaotic the city would be. Near the historic center where you can enjoy a touch of history (able to walk there, but just one block too far to really be in the vivid part).
Rooms are very spacious and clean. Breakfast is ok but quite simple, nothing special. Very friendly staff that speaks English very well. Parking lot is definitely a bonus (free and totally private and thus very safe to leave your car).

Close to city center. Pool is small but very welcome after a hot day of sightseeing. Room and hotel is old but has charm and is clean. Staff very helpful if you speak Spanish. Breakfast is OK: bananas, oranges, bread, Mexican sweet rolls. -
