  One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. The receptionist I dealt on checking in and out with was wonderful and a real credit to the hotel. The location is super with being right in the centre of Dublin but also nice and quiet at night. The room I stayed in was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The purple and white colour scheme was very much to my taste and the ability to dim the lighting was a lovely additio - Stayed for 5 nights on July 2013. I had great experience. The location couldn't be more central, just 2 minutes walk from Temple Bar and 5 minutes from Dublin Castle. The rooms are very large and very well equipped and the bed extremely comfortable. The facilities are very modern but the interior designing is pleasant and warm. Breakfast contains wide selection of fresh products. The staff was friendly, outreaching and very efficient. They provided a lot of accurate information about the city

  thew conceirge was very helpful looking after our bags and being attentive to us and the fact it was my wife's birthday. the comlpimentary bottle of champagne and little cake were very much appreciated. - fabulously comfortable bed, gorgeous big bathroom, excellent jazz band in the hotel's Mint Bar

  What I loved about our stay at the Fitzwilliam Hotel was the warm welcome we received from the staff at reception upon our arrival. All the staff were happy and helpful throughout our stay.   This was one of the best trips I've had to Dublin. My flight was delayed, and my husband's flight was ever more delayed, so we arrived late at night, tired, hungry and grumpy. The staff could not have been nicer, whisking our bags upstairs and organising drinks for us in the drawing room at the speed of light.
