  Firstly the location is ideal for a city break, walking distance to all the top restaurants and pubs. The hotel staff both in hotel and bar were the one of the best I have experienced in my travels. The room was basic with an Air condition unit for hot and cool air, worked perfectly with only a very low hum . Thank you all for a very plea - Great position, good quality accommodation attached to character pub right in Eyre Square in the heart of the attractive and vibrant city of Galway. Fabulous breakfast - individually cooked (instead of withering in a buffet) and served in a lovely room over the old pub. Pleasant friendly staff.

  Was able to get a drink from bar after returning from town. Very nice staff - Big comfortable room with well thought out decor. Great breakfast.

  Room was brilliant and beds were luxurious. I am very critical usually but this hotel room was perfect in every way. The price was very reasonable. The hotel was central and easily found but car is needed.   Lovely Hotel, Staff were very friendly and polite. The room was very clean and comfortable. We didn't use the Bistro but the food both in the bar and for breakfast was very good.   This hotel was built in the 50's. I remember it since then. Not a lot has changed and I love that !The comforting feel of the place was great. No raz matazz ! The owners/managers were just so kind and low key nice. Wonderful !Old fashioned but full of GENUINE character.
