Great position, good quality accommodation attached to character pub right in Eyre Square in the heart of the attractive and vibrant city of Galway. Fabulous breakfast - individually cooked (instead of withering in a buffet) and served in a lovely room over the old pub. Pleasant friendly staff.

We stayed for the whole weekend with 2 kids both under 2. The room was very clean that we could let the youngest crawl round the floors without fear. 1st morning we had breakfast in our room 2 members of staff came with it, they were very polite. We were also on the forth floor but the way the windows were designed there was no fear for the kids. W

Waiters served dinner/wine/dessert/coffee with great professionalism, very pleasant, they are a great asset to any hotel. No need to look up other hotels for further visits to Galway city. 15 m - Myself and a buddy were up in Galway for two nights for a friends birthday and we were delighted with the service we got at Ocean Crest. Our room was clean and comfortable with a strong hot shower. Plenty of dry towels were supplied on both nights and we got a breakfast that would keep you going all day. Despite the weather being cold the room was kept at a lovely temperature. Sharon, the lady of the house, was very pleasant to us and helped us out with any requests. Friends of ours that stayed

definitely made it. We had our car so great beaches such as Salthill,
Barna and Spieddel was only 10 - 15 min drive away. Some excellent

The staff were very helpful and accomodating. Being able to eat in the hotel bar restaurant at a discount price was good value - the menu choice was good and the food tasty. The apartments were spacious and comfortable. Plenty of parking spaces. Overall a very good experience.

This was one of the very few B&B's that provided free internet, we do not have a tablet or laptop etc. and found it very handy. The sitting area was very comfortable with all one could require including a kitchen with coffee and teas. A 2 minute walk and we found ourselves in Trappers Pub ready for a good pub dinner. Gerry was very helpful making sure everything was to our liking.

Accommodation in Galway is generally quite expensive, but St Judes' Lodge was good value for money. The rooms were basic, but immaculately clean and comfortable. The breakfast (for €6 per person) was excellent and well worth it.
St Judes is just a short stroll (10 minutes) to Eyre Square. I would definitely stay there again. -

The two-bedroomed suite was really huge and very well equipped. Beds were large and comfortable, and all furniture was new and clean. Each bedroom had a tv, and there was a third in the lounge area - great for kids. The food in the hotel bar was excellent and staff were helpful and friendly.
