  I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable with a pleasant staff. - Since I was only sleeping at the hotel, I didn't have an opportunity to try their breakfasts or use the bar. However, generally the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the one dinner I had was of good quality.

  Clifden has become quite built up so it's nice to stay outside the town and get a flavour of what it used to be like. The views from the house are beautiful and the owners are pleasant and engaging without being intrusive. - The cliffside location with views over the sea inlet was superb.   We liked the location - very close to Clifden but far away enough for some peace and tranquility. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. Our only regret was that as we were in Clifden for a concert we didnt have time to have dinner in the restaurant - it looked superb!
