  Very good location on the sea shore, easily accessible, room quite small but confortable and very, very clean, shared modern and very clean toilets and showers, a fully equipped kitchen, confortable beds. Wonderful views, the puffin colony is 5 km far from Guesthouse, very friendly host. All the way from Egilsstaðir is full of wonderful landscapes... vad folk säger » . The host was very understanding with our arrival late after midnight (early in the morning next day!). - To my mind it's the best place in the world. Both stuff and location. You can view birdlife directly from your room or bathroom, you can arrive at the night and find comfortable beds prepared for you. Owners know a lot about hiking trails near these place and would be glad to tell you. At the same time all facilities (I mean shower, kitchen) are new and very clean.

  One of the best and most friendly (staff and room) hotels we had on our ringroad trip. Definitely a recommendation to leave the road no. 1, very good dinner and breakfast!! Very nice view on the lake, absolutly quiet. We liked it very much. - We stayed in one of the great cabins. We were there to hike and enjoy the forest. The cabin was 10 meters... vad folk säger » from the trail so it was perfect. The dinner buffet was amazing - one of the best meals in our 3 weeks in iceland.
