I stayed in Santa Marina Plaza more than a week at the beginning of September 2013. I liked wonderful view from my terrace (front sea view room) and the beach. Very convinient location - not far from Chania and with many shops and restaurants near the hotel.

The staff were fantastic, the rooms were large and we were lucky enough to have a seaview. The all inclusive rate was so good. The meals were very nice and it is a magic location. Nice resort, very comfortable with children, many different pools, beaches, playgrounds, activities for kids. Friendly staff, nice gardens. Water park next to the resort was good. -

Excellent service, fully eguipped double room, huge buffet breakfast, very nice surroundings, great location near the town of Chania but not too close to the extremely busy road by the sea. - Excellent location, very nice surrounding area, very friendly andhelpfull staff, very spacious room. Excellent resort. We had a very large, solid villa located away from the noisy main swimming pool. It was quiet, clean and will climatized. Very nice sunsets. You can walk from one resort to the other and back, close to a 2-km walk. Very nice lawn. Service very friendly and helpful. Good location somehow. -

We stayed at the Happy Cretan for three nights and the only bad thing I have to say is that we didn't have more time there. The hotel setting was absolutely gorgeous! The rooms were fresh and clean along with being eco-friendly. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, the menu for the evening meal was fantastic and was prepared by a fantastic chef...we were never disappointed by what was served.
