We liked everything!!! Our maisonette overlooked the sea. We left the
shutters open on the terrace and each morning we were greeted by the
Mediterranean breeze and sunshine. The two bedroom maisonette was
spotless, very comfortable, spacious, well stocked and well appointed.

This small complex of studios and apartments is set in mature grounds which are by far the most attractive of all those we saw in the area. Manolis, the owner, is the perfect host: friendly and welcoming, always available and helpful when you have a question. He also makes very good wine. We received excellent advice and recommendations from Fanis on places to go, restaurants and bars to try, assistance with car hire and trips - he couldn't do enough to make sure you experienced the best of Crete. Every day we had a half hour consultation with Fanis before embarking on our adventures and we can't fault any of the recommendations.

A lot of thanks Fanis and his mother Georgia for our wonderful holiday!!! Everything was superb - cozy and very clean apartment with great sea view (including such a surprise, as a private patio); delicious breakfast was made by Georgia right on the your terrace; 5 min on foot to the nearest good sandy beach Kalamaki; 2 min to the bus station to Chania; many taverns close to the hotel. And of course the VERY WARM hospitality and readiness to help you in any situation from Fanis and Georgia!! We

We had wonderful 4 days in a beatiful stonehouse with stunning views of the mountains. Helena served very delicious homemade cretan food for breakfast, and was extremely friendly. Calm, quiet except for goats and sheep passing, beautiful garden with flowers all around. A perfect place for relaxation, away from the busy coast. -

Traditional Village Hospitality at its best!
We were planning for a bit of a treat when we booked at Diktyan Villas and we were not to be disappointed. Though the place was a bit tricky to find in this cozy village, once we got to there we discovered the fabulous owners had taken every step to make sure we felt welcome.
To start, our kitchen was fully stocked with every conceivable thing you would need to cook your own meals. Moreover, they had even been kind enough to load the freezer with ice -
Beautiful accomodation in a fantastic situation .Anatoli means "sunrise" these villas face the south coast and the view out to sea in the morning sunshine is amazing ! Manolis and Maria are friendly and couteous though they do not speak much English. Anatoli is abeautiful village.

As others have noted, the location of this hotel overlooking the beach is lovely. The room was basically furnished but fine for our needs. The position is great right across road from beach you can walk to bars restaurants in minutes very central. Views stunning. Very well equipped very clean lovely owners. Can' fault it at all.
